Being part of the Warrior Circle is deeply meaningful to me, as my husband is a sickle cell warrior himself. The Warrior Circle Support Group on Discord was built to be a constant lifeline for warriors and caregivers—open 24/7 for connection, understanding, and support, with monthly meetings that strengthen our community.
Through my business, I had the honor of creating the Warrior Circle logo, along with registration flyers and merchandise whose proceeds directly support the mission.
The logo is a family effort, and it’s inspired by the Sickle Cell Disease Foundation’s logo design. We used two cells that come together to form a circle, with a ribbon down the middle and inside the ribbon, there’s an outline of California, representing where the Warrior Circle began.Even though we’re far apart, we come together as one community.

Sickle Cell Disease
Sickle Cell Disease is the most common genetic disease in the world. Sickle cell disease is an inherited disease in which a person does not have enough healthy red blood cells to carry oxygen throughout the body. Sickle cell disease affects the oxygen-carrying protein inside the red blood cells called hemoglobin.

Sickle Cell Trait People who inherit one sickle cell gene and one normal gene have sickle cell trait (SCT). People with sickle cell trait usually do not have any of the symptoms of sickle cell disease (SCD), but they can pass the trait on to their children.
